Teachers,
We
have been working hard all year to prepare the library for the upcoming split,
and keep the library open as long as possible. That being said, the library
will be closing about two weeks early this year so the books can be stickered,
scanned, and placed into boxes. This is a huge undertaking and will be time
consuming- we have over 18,000 items to pack in 23 days! Here are the library
closing dates for PP and PI libraries for this year only:
Last day for student checkout: April 8th
All student books due: April 15th
Last day for teacher checkout: April 15th
All teacher books due: April 22nd
Be
thinking about the resources you will need for your last few units of the year.
As the library books will be unavailable for the last month and a half of school,
it might be a good idea to plan to get resources from the public library or
draw from your classroom library. I appreciate your understanding in this
matter. Please let me know if you have any questions or need help with
anything.
