Red Mountain Writing Project is excited to offer a worthwhile professional development experience for 6th -12th grade teachers! Assignments Matter: National Writing Task Jam, a national initiative sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, aims to introduce 1000 teachers across the United States to the Literacy Design Collaborative and its tools for making and sharing writing assignments. Twenty three states were chosen, and Alabama is one them.

Assignments Matter will be held on January 24, 2015 from 8 to 5!
