-Westward Expansion 5th Grade

Paine Intermediate teachers continue to take their students to visit classrooms at the Primary School abd participate in brief interactive lessons.  Below students from Mrs. Brandon's 5th grade class visited Mrs. Odom's 2nd grade class.  Mrs. Almon's 5th grade class visited Mrs. Gamble's 2nd grade class.

Like many 5th grade literacy classrooms, Mrs. Almon's students are researching the Westward Expansion.  Mrs. Almon's set up various centers in her room that students rotated through to conduct their research.  Some of her centers were: Film Center, Photography Center, write Around Center, Chromebook Center, Weekly Studies Center and more.
