Fourth & Fifth Grade Math Teachers,
Our revised computer lab schedule is shown below. I
have reserved these times on the lab calendars.
DreamBox: We can start using DreamBox on Monday
in the computer labs. Students must use Chrome to get to DreamBox
and then type the following in the address bar: play.dreambox.com/login/3nz9/paineis.
Next week: If you are not giving your
unit assessment on Achievement Series, use the time for DreamBox. If you are
giving the unit assessment in the lab, see if your scheduled times will
work. If not, see if someone in your grade level can trade with
you. If you cannot make either one work, let me know and I will try to
help you. Remember, you have a full hour, so students can go to DreamBox
after they take their assessment.
The week beginning August 25th: The
testing window for Global Scholar opens this week. Let’s use your
DreamBox time that week to take our baseline Global Scholar
test. If students do not finish (and most probably will not),
we can have them finish the following week during this same time. Global
Scholar will keep the unfinished test for 2 weeks. We can also set up a
couple of make-up sessions if needed. Again, when students finish their
Global Scholar test, they can go to DreamBox.
Achievement Series Unit Assessment – I will send you
a separate email with exactly how students should log on and retrieve the test.
