You may notice an increased police presence in front of our campus from our Traffic Division Officers both on motorcycles and cars. They are trying to eliminate speeding and other traffic violations on Hwy 11 in the school zone around our campus. They are trying to slow traffic down for the safety of all who are entering and leaving Paine.
The speed limit in the school zone is 35 mph. We have been contacted about teachers approaching the school at 45-50 mph. They have asked us to make all employees aware that they will be writing tickets for ANYONE who is going more than 35 mph in this zone. They have requested your cooperation in slowing down as you approach the school and adhere to the posted speed limit. As you know, we have a lot of traffic on and around this campus during arrival and dismissal times. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.
